• DONER BOX - THE MOST FAMOUS FOOD IN GERMANY AND TURKIEY

Döner kebab was introduced to Germany by Turkish immigrant workers coming here in the 1960s and ’70s. One of the earliest street sellers was Kadir Nurman, who started offering döner kebab sandwiches at West Berlin’s Zoo Station in 1972, from the where the dish first took both West and East Berlin by storm and then the rest of Germany.

  • DONER BOX BY VANESS H.

“People who have been to Europe or tried it in Germany absolutely know what it is,” Vaness said. “For people that have never tried it before, it’s a German twist on Turkish cuisine… . I would call it a fusion.”

“The word that I’m trying to get out there…  is the difference in our Doner-style German kebab so people understand we are not just another gyro store down the street. If you look up gyro places, there’s tons in Seattle and we are not just that. Please give us a try because we are different.”

Essentially the concept is the same, but we have different twists to it

It’s not easy to be different

But the world will be boring if everything is the same
